Early Intervention Therapy makes a lifelong impact

From the recent rise in autism diagnoses to babies born with Down’s Syndrome to speech and developmental delays in one- and two-year-olds, there is a growing need for early intervention therapy. Identifying delays and beginning treatment during the infant and toddler stages can minimize lifelong challenges.

Early intervention has been shown to result in a child needing fewer special education and other rehabilitative services later in life, being retained in grade less often, and in some cases being indistinguishable from non-handicapped classmates years after intervention.
